COVID-19 and Your Dental Care

We want to assure you we remain open and are able to continue to see you safely for your dental treatment.

We wish to thank you for your support and feel that we need to let you know what is happening regarding our dental clinics in Brighton and Adelaide.

At both our dental clinic locations, we MAINTAIN the STRICTEST INFECTION CONTROL PROCEDURES.

This is in line with our practices being Accredited Dental Practices in line with the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards. We are constantly monitoring the appropriate Australian Health authorities advice and responding as required.

In addition to providing strict high standards of infection control inside the dental rooms with all our dental materials, instruments, sterilising procedures, outside the dental rooms we continue to wipe surfaces such as chairs, door handles, rails, desk tops and equipment.

We continue to use personal protective equipment such as face masks, gloves, protective eyewear, hand sanitiser, hygiene washing hands policies. Within the waiting room there is hand sanitiser and tissues for use, have removed items like magazines and moved the furniture to decrease congestion and enable appropriate social distancing.

If you prefer a patient can remain in their car and we can let them know when to come in straight to the dental room at their appointment.

On arrival we ask you to STOP and use the hand sanitising stations

We are then asking everyone the following questions:

  • Have you been overseas or interstate within the last 14 days?
  • Have you had contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days?
  • Have you within the last 14 days any respiratory symptoms like a fever, sore throat, difficulty breathing or dry cough?

If there is a YES to any of these questions we will need to discuss with you over the phone about your dental care.

Your dental health continues to be our priority but we also want you to know we care about your health as well as the health of the community. Together we can get through this safely with minimal impact on your dental health.

Please request to speak to your dentist if you have queries or concerns.

Kind Regards

Dr George Atsikbasis, Dr Alan Fassina, Dr Ryan Butler and our Dental Team
