We at Dental Care Professionals are pleased to announce that during the 2017 Queen’s Birthday weekend our founding father, Dr Anthony William Lake, AM was awarded the Order of Australia. The dedication he continues to demonstrate in his work has inspired us and our clients.

Dr. Lake brought his expertise and mastery to the world of dentistry and revolutionised the way that DCP operate and serve the community.
His work, assisting in tragic event recovery, has been an inspiration to us not only professionally but also how we face each day contributing to the lives of those around us. He assisted in the forensic recovery of the 2004 Thailand tsunami, the 2005 Eyre Peninsula Black Tuesday and the 2009 Victorian Black Saturday bushfires. Dr.Lake pioneered forensic dentistry and changed the world of dentistry by opening the Australian Society of Forensic Odontology.
“The Order of Australia is the principal and most prestigious means of recognising outstanding members of the community at a national level and nominations are encouraged from all members of the Australian public” – Governor General
We at DCP pride ourselves on our commitment to continuous education in all areas of dentistry and patient care and Dr. Lake encapsulates our values with his continued dedication to sharing wisdom with others through his work with University of Adelaide’s Forensic Odontology Unit (despite being retired!).
